VeeT Ready-To-Use Wax Strips
Will this be a sticky mess of wax?
I must admit, my arms are a bit of a hairy mess. I haven't waxed my arms since my first try at the D.I.Y. hair removal wax recipe so I was in dire need of hair removal ASAP. When the Veet Ready-To-Use Wax Strips fell on my desk, I couldn't wait to give them a whirl. I imagined myself getting into a sticky mess with these strips, possibly getting them stuck in my hair or my clothes, but I'm an optimist so I hoped for the best.
On clean bare arms, I followed Veet's motto of "5 Steps To Long Lasting Smoothness." It's pretty straight forward, especially when they have pictures on the strips to guide you (see image below). I warmed a strip between my hands, peeled it apart, applied it on my arms, and ripped it off. Results? A pretty good rectangular area on my arm that was hairless! I was able to reuse the double-sided strip a few times on my arms so in the end I only used two strips per arm (one box comes with 40). I followed up my strip session with wax removal wipes all over my arms, which came in the box. If you run of of the wipes or need to cover a larger area, baby oil will work just fine. Overall, I find these wax strips super easy and convenient to use, and will definitely be putting them to work throughout summer.

I have to disagree! I tried the same ones and they removed no hair and left a ton of wax which I still had spots of a few days later.

Any ready to use waxing strips are a no-no for me. I've tried numerous brands and all of them only grab a small amount of hair and they are SUPER sticky! A ton of wax always sticks to my leg instead of coming off on the strip and I end up having to scrub it off with oil. Definitely not recommended, oh and don't even get me started on the bikini line :S lol

I used it a few weeks ago and i regret it sooo much, they gave a bunch of painful itchy ingrown hairs. Maybe it wont happen to you, but i wouldnt recommend. I use homemade sugar wax instead :)

i have used this product, and it sucks! It did not remove much hair, and when it did, it only grabbed a few. And yes i used it right. So I think I will stick to shaving!

I haven't tried this product yet, but I just bought it and I'm quite upset. The box said 40 full size wax strips, and I only got 7. I think I'm going to return this and get a new one. It has rosin wax which will get rid of my stubborn leg hair :-)

I'm going to have to find/pick these up soon! I hate dealing with tubs of wax and not enough strips.
