Why We Love Emma Watson

Check out our five top Emma Watson beauty looks! We asked makeup artist Andrew Sotomayor (@AndrewSotomayor) for some tips on how to create these looks at home.

Emma always rocks a fresh, dewy face and often focuses on one part of her face to highlight.  Here she shows off heavily lined eyes and a nude lip with slicked back hair.

Andrew says:

"I love this evening look which is a great alternative to a traditional smoky eye. For this, I'd suggest Chanel Le Crayon Khol in Noir on the inner and outer eye. To enhance the brow for an Audrey Hepburn feel, use Maybelline Define-A-Brow pencil in short strokes, as if adding one brow hair at a time. Keep the rest of the face nude and finish with clear or tinted lip balm."

Beautylish suggests:  MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in black

Emma's beautiful porcelain complexion provides the perfect base for any makeup look. Her crimson lipstick has a slightly pinkish hue about it, playing up the navy in her dress. She allows her lips to be the feature with simple eye makeup.

Andrew says:

"A berry red lip is flattering on all skin tones. In this case, something like a gray eye shadow would create that soft definition without stealing focus from the lip color. I'd recommend Lancôme Color Design Eye in Ciel du Soir and Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick in Lover."

Beautylish suggests: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Certainly Red

As a new face of Lancôme, Emma debuts a bright summer look with a pop of orange lipstick, simple eye makeup and sleek, side parted hair. Her mustard yellow Marchesa gown perfectly offsets her bold lips!

Andrew says:

"This combination proves that sometimes you can play up both eyes and lips. On the eyes, use HiP Concentrated Shadow Duo in Mischief 908. Apply the lighter shade to the brow and inner half of the lid, then softly shade the black on the outer half of the lid. For a pop of color on the mouth, apply Lancôme L'Absolu Nu in Coral Sand topped with L'Oréal Le Gloss in 158 Peach Fuzz."

Beautylish suggests:  Boots No. 7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Starshell

Soft smoky eyes and almost bare lower lashes subtly enhance Emma's natural look. A touch of bronzer on her cheekbones adds to the healthy, dewy appearance of her skin. For some extra sparkle, she added a bejeweled brooch to her hair.

Andrew says:

"On the red carpet. smoky eyes and a pale lip are always a sophisticated and sexy pairing. For this winged gunsmoke look, use a grey shadow like Lancôme Color Design Eye in Ciel du Soir and a pale lipstick like L'Oréal Colour Riche in Fairest Nude. If your lips are very pink, you may erase them first using a bit of concealer."

Beautylish suggestsRimmel Match Perfection Concealer

Spidery lashes and dark eyeliner frame Emma's eyes and a deep shade of plummy red lipstick glams up the young star.

Andrew says:

"The gorgeous burgundy lip needs no gloss, the skin is fresh (no bronzer needed), and the super thick 60's style lashes fly solo without dark shadow. To get this look use Nars Matte Velvet Lip Pencil in Damned and Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara. This is a great look for when you want to go from a bare face during the day and create a simple evening look to wear out."

Beautylish suggests: Maybelline Volume Express One-by-One mascara
