Powerhouse mineral brand Bare Escentuals is finally introducing portable powders to the mix. Their cult-status mineral makeup and skin care line is a favorite of Beauties around the world, and now they're bringing the same formula you love into a more convenient palette system! Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow comes in duos (2.0, $20) and quads (4.0, $30). This isn't your typical pressed shadow, though—its sea-mineral formula is happily free of fillers, binders, preservatives, and synthetic chemicals.
How is this hydrating and preservative-free formula possible? For executive chairman Leslie Blodgett, the inspiration came from the kitchen! When she watched her husband use cold-pressed olive oil instead of regular oil to cook, she learned that cold-pressed oils retain more nutrients. She then took the idea back to beauty and asked her team to start experimenting with cold-pressed oil to bind the solid shadows. This latest formulation uses a blend of cold-pressed borage oil, caffeine, cucumber, and SeaNutrive Minerals Complex from algae and seaweed.
The color palettes range from neutral and matte to bold and pearlized. These shadows will be available on QVC September 29, and at all other Bare Escentuals locations in October. Beauties, are you ready for this?

It's about time I hate loose shadows, so now I might use their products.

I thought I'd never see the day that BE made pressed powder products. It's about time! Though, I do have to say that Pur Minerals have had pressed mineral eyeshadow from the beginning!

This is interesting. I thought BE didn't believe in pressed products, but I guess cold-pressed oil is the alternative.
