Fargginay launches bacon scents
Do you want to smell like tomorrow's breakfast?
Beauties, we knew it was bound to happen: bacon has officially infiltrated beauty. Meet "Bacon Classic" and "Bacon Gold," two new gourmand scents. These sweet and salty creations were inspired by John Farginnay, the early 20th century parisian butcher who elevated his clients' moods by mixing essential oils with bacon fat from his shop, mmmmm.
It's true that America has elevated bacon to a cult status--it's everything we associate with mom's home cooking and good old fashioned American values. Don't be so quick to brush off the bacon--these fragrances are touted as "sophisticated aromas," with multiple layers of botanical notes. Can bacon really blossom in the beauty market?
Now that Fargginay's "Bacon" Fragrance has joined the cultural ranks of Denny's Maple Bacon Sundae and Bacon Bits, it seems like this fad is officially here to stay. Has bacon replaced diamonds as a girl's best friend?
