Maggie Q oozes with glamour at the 2011 Costume Institue Gala Benefit, wearing a romantic nude Tdashi Shoji gown with her hair pulled back. Makeup artist Hung Vango created a gorgeous bronzy makeup look on Maggie. “For the Met Ball, Maggie Q wore a very romantic creamy brownish dress and wanted her makeup on the softer side. I thought beautiful monochromatic colors in warm gold, browns tones on a slightly tanned skin would be perfect look for her." Keep reading to learn how to recreate the Maggie Q look!

MAKEUP MAGGIE Q AT THE 2011 MET BALL

"I started by cleansing her face with a facial treatment cleanser by SK-II, then prepped her face with a SK-II facial treatment mask for about 15 minutes. After that I used Crème de la Mer Eye Balm on the eyes and Crème de La Mer Moisturizing Lotion on her face and neck. I used Stila bronzing tinted moisturizer all over her face and neck then YSL Touche Eclat concealer in Luminous Toffee to cover up under eyes circles, around the nose and few imperfections.  For eyes, I used MAC Eye Pencil in Teddy, Stila Smudge Pot in Bronze and Nars Cream Eyeshadow in Savage. I finished the eyes with two coats of Diorshow Extase Mascara.

For cheeks, I used Nars Cream Blush in Enchanted, and for lips, I used YSL Rouge Pur Shine in Natural Beige then YSL Lip Gloss in Simply Gold.  To finish the face, I used MAC Prep and Prime Powder for the T-zone of the face and lightly contour the forehead, cheek, jaws with Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer. After she dressed, I applied Crème de la Mer Body Lotion and Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Luminous Liquid Bronzer all over her chest, back and arms.  She looked ravishing!”
