If you have 15 minutes or more in the morning to get ready, you can go as intricate as you like with your face and hair. Celebrity makeup artist Jeffrey Paul gives Beautylish his take on how to look your best when you're not in a time crunch. For the beauty on the absolute go, don't miss Jeffrey's tips on makeup looks under 5 minutes and makeup looks under 10 minutes.

With plenty of time to prep yourself in the morning, Jeffrey says you can get fun and creative with your look. "You can also use magazine looks for inspiration. While flipping through them, pull out some pages that you find interesting. Sites like Beautylish have video tutorials and photos from users that can also help inspire your creativity,"  he says.

Polished Makeup Look in 15+ Minutes

  • Prep the face with serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and eye cream. Allow enough time for each product to sink into your skin before adding the next.

  • Your must have makeup for any look? Mascara, a lip color or gloss, and concealer. Mascara opens up your eyes, lip color brings warm to your face, and concealer will help banish dark circles and spot cover blemishes and discolorations.

  • Only use foundation if you feel it can bring hydration and radiance to your face. A chalky, full coverage face is so passé and has left the building!

  • Using eyeliner for a winged smoky eye look is classic. It always looks great on everyone and can bring a soft focus to your eyes. Don't skip concealer if you'll be using eyeliner because the pencil may accentuate dark circles.

  • But if you want to play with eye shadows, spend your time on a look with different colors and textures, making sure to blend the shadows well for a flawless gradient.

  • I always love the hair-blowing-in-the-wind look! 80% of people notice a good head of hair over anything else so taking the time to perfect your hair is key. Blow dry your hair and while you're putting your face on, use velcro rollers or pin up pieces of your hair to create waves. Add hairspray or mousse to ensure your style stays put all day.

  • Although you're spending more time in the morning to get ready, you still need to create a method that doesn't waste your time. Have fun with beauty and don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone!
