French perfume house launches super limited edition scent for May Day
April showers bring May flowers and this May Day, Guerlain is launching a super limited edition fragrance that's only available for purchase today (May 1st)! That's right, Guerlain's Le Muguet can only be purchased today at Guerlain boutiques worldwide (or by calling 866-409-6110). Why so much fanfare for the first day in May? In France, May Day (May 1st) is a national holiday. How do I know this? Well, when studying abroad in Paris, I was the clueless American girl who showed up for class—only to find out that the entire school was closed! And according to tradition, the French give Muguet flowers (Lily of the Valley) to friends and family on May Day, which is why Guerlain chose this delicate bud for its gorgeous floral fragrance. What also makes this scent so exclusive? It's hefty price tag. A 100ml bottle costs $580! Pretty pricey, but if you love lily of the valley, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
