Designer Holland was inspired by tweed and grannies, so makeup artist Lucia Pica decided to keep the makeup “more modern, with a luminous polished mannequin-like skin and a sensual strong cherry red lip!”
Pica mixed MAC Studio Moisture Cream with MAC Care Blends Oil to prep the face for foundation. To cover blemishes and circles, Pica used MAC Select Cover-Up concealer. MAC Face & Body Foundation was applied lightly over the skin to even out the complexion. To highlight the skin, Pica worked MAC Cream Color Base in ‘Pearl’ into the cheekbones with a MAC 109 Brush and finished by applying MAC Pro Shine Mixing Medium high on the cheekbones. To contour the skin, Pica blended MAC Pro Sculpting Cream in ‘Malaysia’ and ‘Sand Brown’ underneath the cheekbones, and finished the face with pop of MAC Cremeblend Blush in ‘Ladyblush’.
Pica lined lips with MAC Lip Pencil in ‘Cherry’, then applied a coat of MAC Lipstick in ‘Ruby Woo’ for a rounded, sensual mouth. To give the lipstick a pinky finish, Pica worked MAC Pro Lipmix in ‘Crimson’, ‘Fuchsia’, ‘Burgundy’, and ‘White’ into the shade. A subtle coat of MAC Clear Lip Glass in just the center of the lips finished off this modern glamorous look.
