Easter Nail Tutorial

Nothing says Easter and Spring like adorable bunnies, embellished eggs, and pretty pastels! We got together with our in-house nail expert, Romee Ham, to create an easy and fun DIY Easter nail tutorial you can rock this Sunday. Here's the breakdown.

What You'll Need:

STEP 1 Base Coat

In broad, even strokes, apply a thin layer of your favorite base coat.

STEP 2 Polish Nails

Apply two coats of pastel polish on each finger. Allow 3-5 minutes of drying time between each coat. "When applying pastel polishes, use a light hand," Romee says. "Light colored polishes show streaks more easily, so you need to reduce how much pressure you put on your nails."

STEP 3 Brush On The Bunny!

Using a thin brush from the arts and crafts store (Romee is using a Princeton Art and Brush Co. Round 3050R size 0 brush), paint on the silhouette of a bunny on whichever nail you prefer. Paint on the bunny's ears, nose, and bow tie with a hot pink or coral polish. Use a black or dark blue lacquer for the bunny's eyes and nose. Make sure to wipe your brush with a paper towel and nail polish remover between colors.
