When it comes to lashes you can bet the Beautylish team has tried it all. Extensions, falsies, two rows of falsies, hundreds of mascara formulations...you name it, it’s been on our lids. So when Too Faced’s new Better Than False Lashes mascara came across our desks, we had to try it. The innovative system is comprised of two products and three steps (all easy, we promise!). The Activating Top and Base Coat is first used to coat the lashes with an adhesive base (it looks like regular black mascara), then, the magic happens. Unwind the Nylon False Lashes tube and the wand looks like it’s covered in spider webs, but stroke it on and you’ve instantly got double the lash length, double the volume, and a mouth gaping wide in amazement. Follow with the Activating Top and Base Coat and boom—bombshell eyes.

I saw this in sephora and really wanted to try it however after reading these reviews I think ill steer clear of it. it's $50 in canada :S

I've tried this and had the worst experience. I had heard it was unique to any other lash primer out there. Which it is, it's not like a regular lash primer or mascara. It's sort of like a cotton texture. All was find and dandy until I applied the mascara. The mascara is insanely sticky and made me want to pluck out my lashes throughout the day because it was so plastic-y and sticky. Safe to say, don't waste your money on it. I prefer the Lancome Cils Booster XL and even the Revlon Lash Fantasy to make my lashes fuller. And they don't make me want to pluck out my lashes.

My best friend tried using this and cried like a baby for a whole day. Get gets into your eyes and it hurts badly.
Besides, there are mascaras that make you look like you have full lashes. I would know I have some.

I've got this and I'm thinking about returning it.
Frankly, the product leaves your lashes very sticky and you will feel this as you wear it. I find it really annoying as I wear contacts and don't want to be unsticking my lashes constantly. I've read of others using their regular mascara as the third step and so I tried it. This helped with the stickies but it really isn't worth it.
For lush lashes without falsies, I use Shiseido Nourishing Mascara Base and Buxon Lash over curled lashes.
For super drama, add some falsies into that mix.
Just the $0.02 of a mascara junkie/esthetician.

I've heard this is a bit longer process than your standard mascara, but it does give a fuller/longer effect than your natural lashes look. I would have preferred to see an actual photo of lashes wearing this :/
I do want to try this someday!

My daughter bought this, not for contact wearers! The cotton that you put on lashes is crazy, why do you want cotton near your eyes? Would not recommend.

ladies, no amount of mascara will give you the 'false lash' look we all crave unless you are naturally endowed with full voluminous lashes (look up farahdukhai on youtube!). masacara can only do so much so lets not over-hype products..

After reading this article, i had to go try it myself oh course i didn't spend $35 on it! It works pretty well i dnt lik that theres 3 steps, after circling my eye lashes after i got home they lookd pretty good and long but im sure i can find a much cheapers mascara for less money.
