Dying to know which beauty products a fashion editor takes when facing three weeks of travel, fashion shows, shopping, and parties? We chatted with Marie Claire Fashion Market Director Nina Sterghiou and discovered that even the most dedicated style mavens make space in their luggage for a beauty stash! She gave us an insider’s glimpse into what she packs for the shows—and it all begins with the basics.
"I'm very particular about my skin and face and I'm super diligent when it comes to applying hand cream," says Nina. "If your skin is in great shape, then it's easy to apply makeup and look great." Makeup application tools are also a staple in her beauty bag. "I also hate applying makeup with my hands, so I've always got makeup sponges with me!" she adds. And what about those in-flight necessities? "I always travel with fashion magazines, my iPad and iPod, and this year I can't wait to get some reading time with The Prague Cemetery Book by Umberto Eco," says Nina.
