Maybelline Pure Stay Powder Foundation!
Ok my Lady and Gents! If you want a great foundation for a great price, here it is! I have tossed and turned on drug store foundations and this is the one that lasts the longest in my opinion. Of course I love Urban Decays powder foundation, as well as Sephora's, but sometimes the budget just cant fit that in! I actually found this at my local grocery store and I heard about it and I said why not haha! I fell in love with it. It lasts quite long for a cheaper product, and I never have to reapply as much. It is not harsh on your skin, it blends very easily and the powder is not flaky nor crushes easily. I go through powders like no tomorrow, and this powder has lasted me for a while now. It lasts me for about two months, and there is not a full circle of product inside. You get a small mirror and an applicator sponge brush. It gives great coverage and is not bad at all. It also has an SPF of 15. The retail price averages on where you get it. Normally its around $7.29-7.59. Its worth it and lasts long! The only Con about this product I would say, is the small amount given, and if you are more on the pale side like me, the nudes are quite bright even when close to your skin tone.
Hope this helps! :)
Urban Decay Primer Potion!
Oh my lovely ones you all probably know about this Goddess in a tube! This is such an amazing product and it is worth the buy! I was looking all over for a primer to keep my eye shadow lasting all day and I finally found this! My eyelids over time would get greasy throughout the day and my eye shadow would get creases and I hated it! I tried the Maybelline 24 hour primer and it was good, but not in the heat and it did not last all day. I happened to be in Sephora one day and I asked someone about a primer for an all day last, through heat, grease, and sweat and I was referred to the Primer Potions. You get so much out of this small tube, I bought my first one months ago and I still have tons left. I do not use it every single day, I use it for when I want my makeup to last, for important conferences, work, for whenever I want to look my best 24/7 that day. They have 4 different kinds of Potions to toy with. (Orgininal, Sin, Eden, Greed) I have the Original because I wanted something simple just to make my makeup last. It glides on your eyelid simply and smoothly, you only need a drop size portion on your finger and it smears for your whole eyelid. (They have tubes or the wands). This not only lasts all day and gives you a glow or shimmer, depending on the type you buy, but it can also be used as a highlighter! The Original is simple and brightens your eye for a good base even without a color and lasts all day for no crease makeup as I said before. Now you can decide for the others. The Sin is a shimmering champagne shade that will compliment any eye color and give it a pretty boost, while giving you the natural bright look as well. The Eden is a nude that has a matte finish that is actually for the oily lids, and gives you a "no makeup look" when its even worn alone. The Greed is a shimmering yellow gold that also can be worn alone and give you a glow to make your makeup pop. I love these primers with a passion! They are retailed price for $20 and if you think that is a bit much, I agree, but! The product lasts for such a LONG time. Like I said I still have mine with a bunch left and I have used it for months. It is beyond worth it, if you really need it.
I hope this helps lovers!
Moroccan Oil!
Hello my lovely guys and gals! This oil is so hydrating and wonderful for your hair! It helps to revive your hair, strengthen it and help damage over time. It has helped my split ends tremendously. My hair is very long and I blow dry it daily and straighten or curl. So there is a lot of heat damage to my hair, the ends of my hair tend to be dry and this has helped save it over time. I have read reviews of some women saying that it is too oily for your hair. It actually is not, you are only supposed to put a small portion to the middle of your palm, rub all over with both hands and work from scalp to ends. I have also read that some think its too heavy for your hair, and again it goes with the portion you are using, when I use the portion size to my palm, its not heavy at all. It smells amazing as well! Your hair will be soft after one use, and after about two weeks of time you will notice the your hair is more nourished and less dry. I recommend this for ones that color their hair and use heat. Although this product is quite well, the price could be nicer. The 3.4 oz retailed price is $32. It is pricey for you that are on budgets, and I actually recommend another oil that is only $8 that I currently use. The hydrating Macadamia Oil. I was going to do a review on that but I have not found the oil, only the cream, it is just about as good as the Moroccan Oil so you can try that out!
Thank you for reading, hope it helps! :)
Urban Decay Naked Palette 2!
Hello lovelies! I am sure every makeup lover knows about the Naked palettes! I for one love both, but in preference of colors I chose the second. I ADORE this palette! I use it almost every single day, I use more nudes and brown tones so it works perfectly for my day to day looks. For the ones that don't think this palette will be very useful, I am more than sure you will find a way, the mixture of mattes and shimmer shadows are absolutely gorgeous! The shadows are beyond gorgeous and are highly pigmented, which is great about Urban Decay. You can create the most simplest to darkest smokey eye with these colors. There are 12 shadows, 3 of them matte (Foxy, Tease, Blackout) and 7 of them shimmer (Half-Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted). I am all for shimmer shadows, but the pop of mattes are great for your simplistic looks. This palette comes with an awesome duel applicator brush (shadow/crease) uses for your base, highlighter, and blending. It also comes with a mini lipgloss with a filigree cap. It is super cute and smells amazing! The gloss might look dark but its simple and very pretty and it has a cooling minty sensation. The tip is angled, and the squeeze applicator is rubber for a more easier "drag" on applying. Its a nice lipgloss but doesn't hold much product. A plus on this palette compared to the first that most are happier and rave about, is surprisingly the mirror. I do enjoy the bigger mirror its easier for on the go and easier to see. Aside from all that, a lot of you might love it but not the price Yes $50 is much for an average person/on a budget. But you get so much more out of it. Retailed price for a single Urban Decay shadow is $17, meaning the value of 12 shadows is $204. You get much more then you think. If you still aren't sure, go down to your local Sephora and test the shadows out for yourself! Last but not least! I noticed a lot of you are concerned on which naked palette to purchase. It depends on your makeup looks that you use most of course, and what you prefer. If you want more warm browns then choose 1. If you want more light to medium brown tones, then try out the 2nd.
I really hope this was helpful, thank you! :)
