Can Also Be Used for Wavy Hair!
I don't have curly hair but my hair is veryyyyy thick and wavy. When I use products meant for waves, my hair doesn't get that much volume when I style it. I tried the Wonder Waves product by Garnier and HATED it, it was oily and made my hair so stringy! I do like SOME products meant for waves, such as the Aussie sprunch spray. However, I like this product the best because it gives my hair thick, beautiful "curl-like" waves and lots of volume when I scrunch my hair! it also smells great
Great for Wavy or Curly Hair
I have course, thick, wavy hair. It's not really "curly," but this mousse meant for curly hair definitely works for it. When I get out of the shower, I take a blow dryer to my hair for a few seconds and then apply a small handful of mousse. I scrunch my hair by grabbing it and styling, and then I allow it to air-dry. Sometimes, I dry with a diffuser attached to my hair dryer instead.
With this method, the product gives me hair great volume and makes the waves very defined! I don't know what else to say other than that it is a great scrunching product AND can of course be used to define your curls. I feel like it holds veryyy well, even better than Aussie Sprunch spray. I used to only use Aussie but it makes my hair crunchy. Garnier doesn't really do this to my hair.
Interesting
I was surprised by how much I enjoy this product! Is it the BEST drugstore concealer? No. I'd say the best one is Revlon PhotoReady, and this product is definitely not as good as that. However, I do like the coverage and I don't mind the thick consistency. I get best results when I dab it with my EcoTools concealer brush and then brush it on my face. I also top it off with my Bare Minerals multi-tasking concealer (this product makes all my not-so-great concealer work better, but I think I have found decent results without the Bare Minerals on top of the Elf concealer) to make it stick, especially under the eye area. I don't mind the tangerine/orange smell either... I kind of like it. This product is wayyyy creamy, which I like for a concealer because I feel like a liquid one never really covers much. This gives good coverage, especially for its price!
ON SALE FOR $29
I can't believe this is only $29 now! It was originally $64. I got it on the Urban Decay website and am soooo happy with it. The colors, of course, are amazing as always. I'm happy that I also get the primer potion that everyone's always talking about. The packaging is adorable. Maybe a little excessive with the pop-up butterflies, but who cares? It's so cute. I love these 16 brilliant colors and am looking forward to using this palette more and more.
Love It!
This lipstick is amazing. It applies really nicely and doesn't flake at all. It lives up to its claim that it lasts long. Don't expect it to stay when you drink some coffee or anything, but it does have excellent staying power. I got it on sale for around $5, so the price is great for its quality! I like this even better than the Ultra color rich lipsticks.
CHEAP Fab Eyeliner
Pros:
Retractable (am I the only one that hates sharpening wooden liner pencils? bleh lol)
Fun color selection
Comes in shimmer line, regular, waterproof, etc. Variety of product types available
Goes on smooth
Good pigmentation
Long wearing
Cons:
None :)
These go on sale all the time! I think I got like a 4/$10 deal recently or something. I love these eyeliners. I have the Glimmersticks diamonds one in Sugar Plum, the regular in Nocturnal and Black, and I also have the liqui-glide one as well. The liqui-glide is interesting because it feels wet like a liquid eyeliner, but it comes in a pencil form. Neat!
Anyways, these are great, fairly inexpensive products and they're great because of the above reasons :)
Awesome Pigmented Gloss
I LOVE this lip gloss! For around $4 at Ulta, you're getting a great deal. You get a lot of product and the wand has a cute bow tie on the cap! Totes cute. This is a pinky peachy color (French Kiss) that goes on so smooth and has great color. It has good staying power and isn't too sticky or heavy on the lips. It's top quality lip gloss, I HIGHLY recommend it.
Awesome Cream Shadow
I love this product! I have it in both Oyster and Milk, and both are awesomely pigmented colors. They go on really smooth an DON'T crease, which is so important when using cream shadows. I think that they could be used without putting a powder shadow on top, but I usually do just in case. I also use my favorite eye primer (E.l.f. essential $1 primer) underneath to insure that it stays longer. NYX is one of my favorite brands because it has a HUGE color selection in a lot of their products. These pencils come in sooooo many colors, which is great.
