Not very impressed for 1st time buyer

I bought this for my 15th birthday and was very excited due to reviews done by my favorite make up gurus on youtube. The texture is horrible and drying and this color does not go too good with Medium to dark skin skin shades. During the "MAC Me Over" event at my local MAC make up counter, I was told that it's one of those lipsticks that should be blended with another color.. I really wish someone had helped me find a color I would have actually liked..
