For some reason it won't let me reply to your post on my page. Anyways, I don't compete or anything like that but I'm doing my first official test in the summer. We mostly do dressage things in our lessons like serpentines, shallow loops and the main thing we work on is trying to get perfect circles because my riding teacher is obsessed with them. But I would love to try jumping in the future, I think I'm nearly ready. Could talk about horsies all day <3.

I can talk about horses all day too. <3 They are AWESOME! and oooh dressage ;) Dressage is great! I did dressage once, only 2nd level dressage though but ya know :) Jumping is my passion though. <3 Its just so fun! Is there a specific horse that you take lessons on? :)

I can't wait to jump, it looks so much fun. I ride on only a few horses because I'm quite tall to be a horse rider (5ft 5-6). All the other girls at my riding school are quite short so they have lots of little feisty horses. I mainly ride a piebald stallion named Marmite and a Huge black mare named Rosie. It's a bad picture but I've just uploaded a picture of me on marmite on my beautylish. I love hacking in empty fields and woods but can't go to far that often. Where's your favourite place to ride? <3 :)

I LOVE riding on the trails! That seems to be where my soul is :)
Just me and my old man on a nice trail in fall <3 Sounds like a holiday to me.
I also love the show ring though, I can't deny that :) and oh yeah, jumping is SO fun! I stopped jumping fancy after I got out of highschool, he was about 18 then. We were jumping 1.21 meters.. it was easy for him though, he's about 17hh (Hes a gelderlander; imported from the Netherlands. Those breeds are quite tall) He was awesome in his prime. Now I'm jumping a thoroughbred named Prime and we jump about 3ft :) Its so fun and the horses love it! I do Obstacle challenges on Nutmeg (The sorrel QH mare) and on Sky (The paint appendix) we are just doing trails and working on training cause shes only 5 :) but yeah. I so recommend jumping!.. and man, I typed a ton lol. sorry about that :)

Aww, that sounds like so much fun! We only go in the fields when it's really hot (not often) and the horses need to cool down. I mostly do trails when we go abroad. Oh yeah, last time I did a trail was in Cuba in March and I accidently touched a poisonous plant and it peeled away about half a cm of skin from my thumb. Gross. There's a bay pony at my stables called nutmeg, but she used to be good but now she needs a bridle attachment that's like a muzzle. I wish I could jump :)

Ooooooh ouchie about that plant. YIKES! and maybe hopefully you can get into jumping!! :D hehe and why does she have to wear that? o.O

:) because she bites and bucks other horses if they get to close. She used to be really cute but then she started trying to throw people off. She threw me in a corner and I cut my face. Lol, I must sound so accident proned. Have you ever fallen off? :)

With horses, its an occupational hazzard ;) I fell off just recently, Nutmeg cantered up to a jump (probably only about 2'4")and she dead stopped in front of the jump and then after a second, bunny hopped over it and then started cantering off with some bucks here and there. I wasn't truly ready for the bunny hop after she just nearly threw me over with refusing and so I lost my left stirrup and then started to lose balance with her bucking so I tried to do an emergency dismount... didnt really work out. lol when I was in 'jumping off' position, I lost my balance, and then fell onto the ground while doing a split, and I BOUNCED and fell into my split again. I didnt know I could do a split btw xD so yeah. I've been riding for like 15 years and have fallen off.. gee.. a good number would probably be about 9 times. :)

That sounds scary! But if you knew you weren't going to get hurt it probably would have been okay. 9 times! I'm at three and I've been riding for nearly 8 years. The other day my friend fell off and landed on her feet holding onto the reins and everything. It looked like a circus stunt! I nearly had a serious fall a few moths back when I was on a small grey horse named marmalade who decided that he no longer wanted to turn on the fire hand and rear so high that he nearly fell backwards on me. Scary, but a great story to tell my horse riding friends. :)

Your horses are so pretty! My favourite is the skew bald/piebald one (can't quite make out if its black or white) :)
