Sheila R.'s (OhOhSheeiila) Beauty Product Reviews
A Universal Makeup Brush!!!
I've had the Sonia Kashuk flat top brush for well over a year. It has never shedded, and after a quick wash it looks just as good as when I first bought it!
Initially I used this brush to apply foundation and buff it in. It did very well, although, due to the shape, using it as a buffer was a little odd to maneuver around my face. Then I used it to apply powder to my under eyes and T-zone. Working very well to work into the pores. Now I use the brush for bronzer (great for contouring cheekbones) and blush! I don't think I'll be straying away from using it as a blush/bronzer applicator anytime soon, but it's good to know that this brush is so versatile and long lasting!
Definitely worth the money spent! <3
Such an underrated product!
I wish I had discovered this product sooner as most if not all seem to be discontinued throughout the stores. However you can find this item on other websites such as ebay and allcosmeticswholesale between $3-5.
This cream blush is HIGHLY pigmented and is easily blendable. You can even use it as a base for your powder blush to make it last even LONGER!!! I couldn't begin to tell anyone how much finding this blush means to me. I use it every single day and it's always in my purse for if I ever need a touch up.
For those who love to find dupes of high-end products in drugstore brands, Coquette is a dupe for MAC DollyMix and NARS Cactus Flower. ;)
Stays on FOREVER....well at least til you wash your face. ;)
Don't you just hate it when your put on your makeup in the morning only to find out your eyeliner is near to non-existent by the time lunch rolls around?
This eyeliner should probably come with a warning:
WARNING: Will stay on until you fight me off!
Okay, maybe not "fight" off but this eyeliner does take a bit of work to rub off at the end of the day. But, heck, I don't mind one bit. Why you may ask? Because that's what I expected; it's what I paid for. You can't invest your money in a waterproof eyeliner and expect it to just dissolve in your hands when you want it to.
Pigmentation is amazing, I don't have to go over and over and over and....well you know, over again just to get the eyeliner as dark as it should be.
Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner is definitely what I call a bang for your buck. Great product, for a great price! A must have in my beauty box. :)
Best Drugstore Foundation!
I've been searching years for a great drugstore foundation and this is it! I've tried Maybelline SuperStay, Revlon's PhotoReady, and countless others. Although I heard good reviews on most, the foundations themselves never met up to my expectations until now!
This foundation has great coverage (about medium to full coverage), which means there's no need to cake it on. The foundation contains SPF and works well with my oil-prone skin. Blending is great and you can't beat the various skin color choices to choose from. Well worth the money spent. $
I gave only half a star away because the way it's dispensed, I would've prefer a pump.
A bang for your buck!
I ran out of my Sonia Kashuk Tinted Moisturizer and didn't want to spend the money to buy another tube. I heard some mixed reviews on E.L.F. tinted moisturizer and since it was only $3 I decided...hey why not, its worth a shot.
Compared to the other moisturizer, E.L.F. definitely doesn't come with as much product (about half the product as Sonia K). However, it was only $3 so you really can't expect a huge amount for a small price.
The consistency and texture of the moisturizer is good. It comes out a little thick but as soon as it is applied to the face it's feels just like lotion. Very moisturizing and just like most, a little goes a long way.
I did notice an orange tint to the moisturizer but since it was so close to the actual color of my face it really just looked like I had a slight glow, no Oompa Loompa going on here! I suppose if a liberal amount of it was applied then the orange effect could happen, but just remember as always....a little goes a long way.
I would have just given it 3 stars but due to the bargain price I gave it another!
Creates an even skin tone and moisturizes!
I'm the "Buy on the whim" sorta girl, so when I was shopping through Target and spotted this I decided to give it a try.
I have an uneven skin tone (very slight discoloration here and there on my face) so I figured this would be good for those days I just don't feel like putting on "my face". I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage this tinted moisturizer provided. Completely evened out my skin tone and made it feel oh-so soft! Love it! A little goes a looooong way!! My tube still has a little left after 5 months of use.
I would definitely recommend if you just don't feel like wearing foundation but still want some coverage!!
Great application, high pigmentation, and long-wear!
I took 1/2 a star off just because it's not all that waterproof!
This eyeliner is fantastic and it lasts a good amount of time!, No cracking, flaking or fading! I love the felt tip application because it allows for a more precise application. This eyeliner lasts me through most of the day and it doesn't smudge easily at all! No need to go over the lines because the pigmentation is fantastic. This eyeliner is awesome and I'm glad I chose to pick it up on a whim! You can find it at Sally's Beauty Supply or Ulta. :)
