Hmm, what to say? I'm not really good at describing myself!

I enjoy make-up, astronomy, photography, music, ballet and YouTube! I consider myself quite aspirational and artistic, as I play the violin and piano. I also do ballet because that is a form of artistry, so I really do think that I am creative and an artist.

I enjoy make-up because I believe that applying make-up is an art in itself: you don't master it; you keep on learning. You also need to practice applying make-up and making it look good and that does take patience and willingness.

If I had two types of make-up looks I could love, I would choose the 'barely-there' look and the dramatic, avant-garde make-up (the use of bright, bold colours and experimental, 'can't wear it out without getting looked at' looks). So, two complete opposites. I think smokey eyes are a little overrated: people need to experiment and bit creative more!

I am asian, with hooded, monolid eyes and I try to embrace it even though make-up is sometimes very hard to put on for me. I am still experimenting and trying to find the perfect eye make-up for me but I believe trial and error is good because you may find something good along the way.
I would never consider cosmetic surgery, even though sometimes, I get frustrated with my looks. People should try and embrace what their parents have given them and not try to change destiny. It makes you unique. If cosmetic surgery is what you truly want, go for it, but I, personally, would never go near it.

What I think makes someone beautiful: A ton of confidence, someone who smiles (trust me, you look so much better when you smile!), a nice, bubbly personality and of course and nice, shiny eyes (eyes are the windows to your soul...).

Pet peeve: When people say: 'I look really ugly' and can't take compliments... you're just putting yourself down! You should be so glad that people are complimenting you. If you can't learn to love yourself, how can you expect anyone else to?
